With the exception of the 90-minute intake, sessions are not structured and may range from as little as 15 minutes to as long as we may need to accomplish the goals for the day. Most sessions will average about one hour. Time is billed in 15-minute increments for most therapy sessions.
No. Exercise is always optional and will be discussed in advance whenever possible. Exercise is an integral part of the Triad model of mental health treatment, so it will be discussed frequently and incorporated into sessions whenever necessary. Not every session will involve physical activity, but it will always be a focus of the overall treatment plan and will be discussed regularly. On site, private changing facilities are available.
No. Blood work analysis is an integral part of the Triad model of mental health treatment and it is strongly encouraged in order to inform the work we do (or to recommend other services) and to have an informed approach to treatment. Ultimately, you decide whether or not to have blood work done at a lab, as we cannot do it in our office.
In our parking garage at the bottom of the building (for hourly purchase), entrance is on Bonhomme Ave. Or, there is ample street parking in front of the building that utilizes the Passport parking app, as well as some free street spaces nearby.
Yes! Telehealth meetings are always an option; however, in-person meetings are preferred whenever possible, particularly for the first few meetings.
